Carolina Living Show Slated for Myrtle Beach

A Great Time for a Home Show

Myrtle Beach - Convention Center - South CarolinaAre you planning to buy or sell a house sometime soon? Is a major or minor remodeling project looming in your immediate future? Could you use some professional advice on landscaping or installing and maintaining a pool or spa? Or are you simply one of those people who enjoys talking about – and working on – improvements to your home?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions or if you’re just interested in learning about a wide range of products and services that will help make your home a more comfortable, energy-efficient and elegant place to live, you might want to consider spending a day or two at the Carolina Living Show.

The 2012 Carolina Living Show show, presented by Carolina Homes & Interiors, is scheduled for Saturday, January 7th, 2012 and Sunday, January 8th, 2012, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the initial major home show of the year along the Carolina coast. It’s being held at an ideal time of the year, according to show Director Bill Cool.

“Home shows tend to work best in the winter,” Cool explained. “That’s when people are doing their planning and that’s when they have more time. In the spring, they’re already into their home projects.”

Cool went on to point out what awaits those who attend the show.

“First and foremost, you’ll find all sorts of things for the home, everything from remodeling to building from the ground up to tips on selling and buying a house,” said Cool. “You can find out about everything that has to do with homes, inside and out, from kitchens to bathrooms to closets to garage doors to landscaping.”

The show, which features at least 90 exhibitors each year, even offers the opportunity to obtain valuable advice from experts in the financial field.

“If you own a home, if you are trying to sell your home or if you are interested in buying a home, the Carolina Living Show will provide you with a wealth of information,” Cool commented. “Attending this show is an extremely smart thing to do. You can see all these people under one roof in a day or maybe two days. You can talk to all sorts of people about your house.”

Matt Sedota, general manager of WEZV Radio in Myrtle Beach, one of the show’s exhibitors, is optimistic that the the show will be an instant hit.

“It’s a great idea for this time of the year,” he commented. “People are thinking about what they’re going to do to their house and their yard. People love looking at anything that might make their home more comfortable. This is a great time of the year for this show.”

At the Carolina Living Show, you can soak up a large amount of information and have a large amount of fun, as well. There will be live entertainment throughout the two-day show, as well as seminars on do-it-yourself home improvement projects. And, if you get tired of talking about your home, you can visit vendors whose products aren’t related to the building industry, such as chiropractors, other healthcare providers and real estate professionals.
